MoD BristolScott Brownrigg worked closely with all members of the design team and contractor as executive architects and landscape designers for the this 1.3m sq. ft. campus of buildings for the Ministry of Defence comprising; offices, library, nursery, gatehouse and central facilities. In order to facilitate a rapid construction process and an excellent co-ordination of on-site information exchange, Scott Brownrigg established their design team of 30 staff an site for the duration of the detailed design and construction period. Special features incorporated into the design of this high quality yet value engineered development include; low energy displacement ventilation, cost in use and maintenance considerations and 'green' aspects which resulted in 'excellent' BREEAM ratings.
