Three Crowns House
The high quality office building in Cambridge includes key factors of sustainability and offers environmental and visual improvements to the site and surroundings. The building has been designed with an energy efficient holistic approach to CO2 emissions. Emphasis is placed on passive and active design measures to reduce energy consumption within the building. These include reduction of solar gains by solar shading, maximising day lighting, lighting control, good thermal insulation of the building fabric and energy efficient plant and equipment. In addition, renewable technologies are planned to further reduce CO2 emissions. The project has recently been submitted for planning permission.
