Bruce Calton

Group Director

Bruce is a Group Director of the practice based in the Guildford office. Graduating from Oxford Brookes University with Diplomas in Architecture and Urban Design, Bruce has a wide experience of masterplanning, particularly of new urban areas and the sensitive integration of redevelopment within city centres.

He has been involved in the detailed design of commercial office projects along with seven years' experience of residential and conservation programmes. Bruce has been the project Architect for five large office projects totalling £21m, running various teams of architects during the working drawing stages, following responsibility for the concept design work during project conception.

Bruce examines options, often in consultation with his planning colleagues, to explore alternative strategies for evaluation with a client's consultant team. His natural ability to illustrate these in a wider context stimulates a greater appreciation of potential opportunities.
