Darren Comber

Director

Darren is a director of Scott Brownrigg in our London office where he leads a large creative team. He has been at the forefront of many major projects over the last ten years, instigating a fresh enthusiasm for modern architecture, high standards of design and innovative ideas. His work involving the masterplanning and detailed design of large office developments and education schemes is complemented by a sensitive concern for intimate, small projects and the restoration and refurbishment of historic buildings.

Darren is notably intrigued by the manipulation of light to enhance a space and to invoke emphasis and interest. He follows this train of thought by extending internal spaces into the landscape where the transition is considered a vital component to establish a building in its setting and to optimise interest for the occupier.

With experience in residential schemes, city centre hotels, restaurants and retail, he is increasingly involved in work in central London involving mixed uses which are completed to the highest standard.
