Design Research Unit -Transport

Design Research Unit became part of Scott Brownrigg in August 2004, providing us with additional expertise in transport related design and visual communications.

Founded in 1943 by Sir Misha Black and Milner Gray, Design Research Unit were one of the first fully multi-discipline practices in the UK and have enjoyed a great track record ever since.

We believe that design is not wholly about style but is based on sound research and implemented by people with a range of skills acting as a unit. Our approach to design is strictly contemporary, coherent and tempered by appreciation of the environment around a project.   We aim to establish a close identity of purpose and strong working relationship with every client, ensuring careful attention to details and constantly aiming to achieve value and economy.
