Foundation Park, MaidenheadScott Brownrigg was briefed to add a new lease of life to the dated architecture and wooded landscape at Foundation Park. The scheme includes the extensive refurbishment of two existing 25,000sq ft buildings. The buildings were stripped back to their main structures and additional office accommodation is being provided within each building at roof level, replacing the old large pitched roofs and plant space. The practice also designed a new 40,000sq ft office building, cafe and security gatehouse. The redevelopment of the masterplan at Foundation Park aims to provide a spatial structure, landscape and buildings that will meet the needs of current and future occupiers. The masterplan is designed to be extendable over time but developed in such a way that during its phasing that it appears complete at any point in time.
