Docklands Light RailwayScott Brownrigg were involved in providing station design and planning solutions to preliminary design stage for the upgrade of the DLR. The upgrade will permit the operation of 3-car trains for the 12 DLR stations on the Tower Gateway to Lewisham section of the network. Generic designs were developed for station canopies, screens and stairs and then applied to each station where appropriate. Passenger capacity and evacuation calculations for all stations and every exit were incorporated into a final design report. Further Information
