Victoria Underground StationDesign Research Unit worked on the initial stages of the upgrade of Victoria Underground Station. Used by over 75 million passengers each year, the station is one of London Underground's busiest and most congested. The £500m project aims to increase the size of the station by 50 per cent, with a new ticket hall, lifts and escalators to ease congestion and the provision of step-free access from street level to the Victoria, Circle and District line platforms.
