Island Site, Greenwich Borough Council

Following a number of urban design and masterplanning appraisals for mixed use regeneration projects on several sites within Woolwich town centre, Scott Brownrigg was asked to undertake a feasibility study for a new 27,900 sq m multi-occupancy facility.   The facility incorporates Greenwich Borough Council’s offices and a library and the design is organised to connect key public routes to the town and responds to the alignment of the Meridian.   Active frontages and a vibrant atrium street within the heart of the building help ensure that the development is legible and people focused.
