Garth Hill CollegeScott Brownrigg secured planning permission for the redevelopment of Garth Hill College, the first school to be delivered under the Bracknell Forest BSF Pathfinder programme. The team worked closely with Scott Brownrigg's architects for several months to progress proposals from stage C through to the detailed planning application. The proposals allow for the replacement of existing buildings with a new 1,550 place secondary school together with new access, associated parking, landscaping and new sports facilities. The constructive pre-application discussions with the school, governors, the local authority and other stakeholders not only ensured a high quality development but also ensured that despite being a major application it was determined within eight weeks of submission.
