East Street, FarnhamResponding to both the needs of the town and the requirements of planning policy, our proposals to regenerate a five hectare site in the centre of Farnham seek to create a vibrant extension to the town centre in an area which has been neglected and under utilised for some time. Scott Brownrigg acted as lead consultant throughout the planning application process and developed a close working relationship with the Waverley Borough Council. The team successfully concluded detailed and lengthy consultations with various local community stakeholders and statutory consultees, involving public exhibitions and presentations to interested groups and local councillors. As a result of these negotiations, the council resolved in October 2008 to grant full planning permission for the scheme, a decision subsequently backed by the Secretary of State.
