Howbery Park

Scott Brownrigg Planning secured outline planning permission in 2002 to create a new business campus on HR Wallingford’s former government laboratory site at Howbery Park.  The permission enables the park to grow to 360,000 sq ft and for the recycling of earlier phases.

Red Kite House was designed by Scott Brownrigg specifically for the Environment Agency to serve as an example of best practice in sustainable office development.  It has a BREEAM Excellent rating. Planning approval for Red Kite House was achieved through the submission of reserved matters in 2004.

HR Wallingford’s own new HQ (40,000 sq/ft)  completes the gateway to Howbery Park.  The Reserved Matters Approval was granted by South Oxfordshire District Council in 2008 within the 13 week ‘major development’ time-frame.
