Bromyard Avenue

Scott Brownrigg was appointed to undertake the management and co-ordination of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Environmental Statement (ES) on Bromyard Avenue for Berkeley Urban Renaissance, a division of the Berkeley Group plc.

The proposals consist of the demolition of the existing residential blocks to create 310 new homes including 278 apartments, 31 town houses and 1 detached house. The town houses will be located in two three-storey blocks, one to the north of the site and one to the east. The apartment block will be a maximum of six-storeys high and contain a mix of studio, 1, 2, 3 and 4 bed units.

Scott Brownrigg authored a number of ES chapters including the introduction, EIA methodology, socio-economics and residual impacts and conclusions.   Scott Brownrigg also provided guidance and advice to the specialist consultants, who carried out technical assessments to establish the potential for significant environmental effects, on the design of the development, scope of studies required and the content of the ES chapters.
