High WycombeScott Brownrigg acted as sustainability advisors for the planning application for the redevelopment of High Wycombe railway station. The redevelopment of the 3.45 hectare site is to provide a mixed use scheme comprising railway station improvements, highways improvements and new public transport interchange facilities, residential units, a hotel, multi-storey car park and ancillary retail and café/restaurant uses. Scott Brownrigg authored and produced the Sustainability Statement for submission with the planning application on behalf of Network Rail and John Laing Developments. The South East England Development Agency (SEEDA)Sustainability Checklist was used throughout the planning application process to inform the design. Environmental and sustainability issues assessed within the Sustainability Statement included: climate change and energy; community; place-making; travel and movement; ecology; resources; business; and buildings.
