Ponds Farm Design + Access StatementScott Brownrigg was appointed by Colonade Land LLP to provide architecture, masterplanning and urban design services in connection with an outline planning application for the development of approximately 40,000 sq m of employment floorspace at Ponds Farm, Thurrock. As part of this commission, Scott Brownrigg worked to develop a masterplan for this prominent site adjacent to the A13 in consultation with the Thurrock Thames Gateway Development Corporation. Our integrated urban design and planning services also led on the production and preparation of a Design and Access Statement for the scheme. The statement sought to explain the holistic approach that had been followed in developing the masterplan for the scheme in order to overcome the constraints of the site whilst maximising opportunities and realising client aspirations.
