Brand Centre, StratfordEnergy efficiency and flexibility lie at the heart of this radical new take on the department store. Scott Browrnigg's team challenged the notion of what occurs in a department store and how the customer normally traverses from point to point. Each unit was separated from the next on a typical floor plate by a vertical separation of 1.5m so that a "racetrack" occurred; gradually stepping up until the full 360 degree route is made and finishes 6m above the original starting point on a new floor.
