Bruce is part of the Guildford office leadership team. Graduating from Oxford Brookes University with Diplomas in Architecture and Urban Design, Bruce has a wide experience of multi-sector masterplanning, particularly of new complex urban areas and the sensitive integration within established city centres.

He has been involved in significant business park masterplanning and more recently in creating high value regeneration sites along quality waterfront settings. Bruce specialises in strategic residential-led mixed use masterplanning, providing valuable guidance and direction to a core urban design unit within Scott Brownrigg’s  masterplanning service.

Promoting high quality design and high value solutions that can be realised and in conveying this vision with passion, conviction and success, the work that he delivers reflects the practice's Vision for timeless, sustainable and beautiful environments that are aspirational to clients and the communities in which those masterplans are intended to enhance.

Bruce examines options, often in consultation with his planning colleagues, to explore alternative strategies for evaluation with a client's consultant team. His natural ability to illustrate these in a wider context stimulates a greater appreciation of potential opportunities, which helps convey the vision for a new community whether located in the UK or Internationally.

Bruce also represents the practice’s membership of the UK Science Park Association; strengthening its existing skills and sector expertise in Science and Innovation Campus design, enterprise hubs and laboratory design for universities and developers alike.
