Ditton Park Academy Wins Innovation in Delivering Value Award at Education Estates 2018
Ditton Park Academy designed by Scott Brownrigg has won the Innovation in Delivery Value Award at last night’s Education Estates Awardsin Manchester.
The 11-18 mixed secondary school and Sixth Form represents one of the UK’s most innovative recent new build schools and the first Secondary School to use the standardised ‘kit of parts’ approach. Effectively used to unlock tight site constraints, meet low budgets and deliver real value, the highly adaptable design has enough flexibility to be reused and delivered on any site and location across the country. Exceeding expectations by building on the design and project team’s experience in designing and delivering high quality yet standardised Education facilities.
By using Scott Brownrigg and Galliford Try’s award winning ‘optimum school’ design principles, and applying it to the ESFA standard superblock design, an adaptable and flexibleEducationfacility has been created.
Ditton Park'swin reflects the successes that the practice is experiencing in pushing innovation within the education sector.
