"The most beautiful Goodman office in Europe"
Goodman Netherlands recently moved to the World Trade Center Schiphol Airport, a prestigious location which boasts unrivalled convenience for international visitors as well as a vast range of on-site amenities. Having successfully delivered impressive, matching schemes for Goodman’s UK offices in Mayfair and Theale, Scott Brownrigg Interior Design were asked to repeat the exercise for the new Dutch flagship.
Key features include:
- Reception - visitors and staff familiar with the UK offices will immediately recognise the impressive, monolithic reception desk. The elegant black and white theme, which runs from the glossy ceramic floor through the granite desk itself, provides the perfect canvas for Goodman’s apple green logo to deliver its visual punch - this is echoed by the soft seating in the holding area, also upholstered in the signature green, which is screened by a low level wall containing feature planting.
- A light and airy open plan working area - running alongside this, separated by simple glazed screens to increase light flow and communication, are five internal team meeting rooms, each named after local and international landmarks. Beautifully detailed manifestation graphics, showing silhouetted images of the various landmarks, provide identity and focus to each individual space.
- The 20-seat Boardroom - featuring stunning views of one of the main Schiphol runways. A large, U-shaped conference table, finished in exquisite dark cherry timber veneer, is mirrored at upper level by low profile aluminium strip lighting. The stunning array of classic Eames mesh conference chairs gives the modern space a timeless feel.
- The breakout café - the black and white theme is picked up again in the glossy white cabinets and black Corian worktops and splashbacks. Here, whilst seated at matching Pari tables and chairs, staff are able to enjoy lunch and have ad-hoc informal meetings with incredible views of the runway.
Bob Reidsma, Director, Goodman Netherlands B.V. stated:
“The new office is looking great and everybody is very enthusiastic. [I have worked] with great pleasure with Scott Brownrigg Interior Design. This office will be a showpiece […] and in my opinion the most beautiful Goodman office in Europe”.
