Katherine Neathercoat appointed new Director / Head of UK Interior Design
Award-winning design studio Scott Brownrigg Interior Design has appointed Katherine Neathercoat as its new Director / Head of UK Interior Design.
Based in Endell Street, London Katherine will lead the creative design direction of the Practice’s Interior Design service. Working with the existing team, she will help to grow the interiors business by expanding its client base through developing the studio’s multi-sector offering within the corporate, commercial, residential, hospitality and education sectors. She will also support Scott Brownrigg’s wider international growth initiatives.
Katherine joins the Practice from Rolfe Judd where she was Head of Interiors for the residential and commercial sectors for four years. Prior to this she had her own business – ‘Design by Katherine N Ltd’. Katherine has led the design for a number of high profile schemes including the residential scheme, Artisan with Dukelease Properties, which won the coveted overall Grand Prix Award at the Evening Standard New Homes Awards in 2016 as well as the Best Residential Renovation and Redevelopment at the UK Property Awards. On the commercial side, Katherine worked on Carter Lane, a 10,500 sq m office refurbishment which occupies a high profile position opposite St Paul’s Cathedral.
Katherine has an MA in Architectural Interior Design and a degree in Mandarin and is experienced at working with interior designers and architectural teams from both the concept stage of a scheme through to detailed design and delivery.
