Scott Brownrigg's Singapore office officially launches
Scott Brownrigg officially launched its new Singapore office with a client drinks reception on Tuesday 24 September at the British High Commissioner’s residence, Eden Hall in Singapore.
Key industry representatives and target clients from Singapore and the wider ASEAN region attended the event. Phil Hickson, Senior Trade and Investment Manager and Head of Inward Investment at the UKTI did the welcome speech, followed by a speech from Scott Brownnrigg CEO Darren Comber. Scott Brownrigg’s Board was represented by Darren Comber, Richard McCarthy and Mike Warren.
The new office supports the practice's expanding work interests within Singapore and the wider region. These include the design for the University of Reading Malaysia Campus, part of the Malaysian Government’s EduCity development in Bandar Nusajaya, Johor which is now on-site. The design concept for the scheme is a finalist at this year’s World Architecture Festival Awards, which take place in Singapore on 2-4 October.
