Two Scottbrownrigg projects shortlisted for Office Development Awards 2009


Scott Brownrigg commercial office space projects, The Hub, Hatfield Business Park and Pinewood, Wokingham have both been shortlisted for the Office Development Awards 2009 "Best Development outside of Central London" category.

The category is open to speculative, bespoke developments and refurbishments completed between July 2008 and June 2009 with schemes judged on their architectural qualities, flexibility and attractiveness to institutions.

The Hub is a 100,000sq ft corporate headquarters building for tenant Veolia Water Central (formerly Three Valleys Water) at Hatfield Business Park. The building incorporates a winter garden and water-related sustainable technologies including rainwater harvesting, solar water heaters and a sustainable urban drainage system with bio-swale.

Johnson & Johnson Medical Ltd occupy the 200,000sq ft corporate headquarters building at Nine Mile Ride, Pinewood, Wokingham.

The Hub, Hatfield was also the Midlands Regional Runner-up at the BCO Awards 2009.

The winner  of "Best Development outside of Central London" will be announced at the awards night taking place on 20 October at the Royal Lancaster Hotel.
