The development has been designed in accordance with Lifetime Homes, EcoHomes (now Code for Sustainable Homes) and BREEAM, and has won a host of awards including Best Social Housing Award, Best Planning Built Project, Best Interior Design Award, Best Landscaped Development and has achieved a CABE Building for Life standard. A phased planning application strategy enabled signifcant uplift to the number of residential units permitted on site. Permisison for phase five was secured on appeal at public inquiry where Scott Brownrigg provided both planning and design expert witnesses.
