Radisson Edwardian Free Trade Hall, Manchester
Radisson Edwardian/Balfour Beatty
Style in the City is the keynote for the design of the Radisson Edwardian Hotel, Manchester. The luxury hotel has been created from the historic Free Trade Hall, one of Manchester’s most well known and treasured landmarks. A marriage of old and new, it combines the Grade II Listed Free Trade Hall facade, with a 16 storey tower, connected by a glazed atrium. Fully equipped meeting rooms have been designed to offer maximum flexibility and state-of-the-art facilities, in atmospheric surroundings. An array of original artefacts retrieved and revived from the original building are on display, and each room has taken its name from one of the authentic coats of arms incorporated into the interior.
