Last week our Edinburgh studio spent the day at The Yard, a specialist adventure playground in the heart of Edinburgh that provides a safe and creative space for disabled children and their families.

This was the studio’s second time volunteering at The Yard as part of our Community Involvement Programme – a practice-wide initiative that gives every employee a paid day each year to support a charity or community project close to them.

The team rolled up their sleeves and set to work refreshing the space. From painting fencing, flowerpots and toy shelves, to brightening window frames and creating props for The Yard’s upcoming summer party, the group brought both creativity and colour to the playground.

It was a day of collaboration, with the team enjoying the chance to step away from their desks and work together in a different way, while making a meaningful contribution to the local community.

Our connection with The Yard is one we’re proud to continue. Their commitment to providing play and adventure opportunities for children with additional support needs is something that resonates strongly with our values – and we look forward to supporting them again in the future.
