We’re delighted to share that Dagmar Binsted has been shortlisted for the AJ100 Mentor of the Year 2026 award.

The award celebrates individuals who have made an exceptional contribution to mentoring across practice, education and the wider profession. Dagmar’s shortlist recognition reflects years of commitment to supporting emerging talent and widening access to architecture.

At Scott Brownrigg, Dagmar has played an important role in mentoring architectural assistants and supporting colleagues through every stage of their professional journey. Beyond the practice, she continues to champion the next generation of architects through outreach work in schools, helping young people see architecture as an accessible and rewarding career.

Her contribution extends across the industry. Dagmar mentors through the Women in Architecture programme, is a member of the Apprenticeship Trailblazer Group, and is an Associate Lecturer for the Level 7 Apprenticeship at Oxford Brookes University.

The AJ100 Mentor of the Year category recognises the people shaping a more inclusive, supportive and forward-thinking profession. We’re proud to see Dagmar recognised alongside an inspiring group of peers across the industry.

Congratulations to all those shortlisted, and especially to Dagmar for this well-deserved recognition.

The winners of the AJ100 Awards 2026 will be announced in June.
