Today marks the end of an era at Scott Brownrigg as Managing Director, Michael Olliff retires and steps down from the Board after two decades of exceptional service.

Michael joined Scott Brownrigg in September 2005 to launch the Practice’s Education Sector, beginning with the transformative Kent Schools PFI project, which delivered six schools and improved access to education across Kent. Since then, Michael has shaped countless education projects across the UK and internationally, leaving an indelible mark on the sector.

In 2010, Michael became a Group Board Director, playing a pivotal role in establishing our Singapore studio and delivering award-winning designs, including the University of Reading Malaysia campus. Four years later, he was appointed Managing Director, where he led the Operations Board with vision and dedication, driving efficiency and effectiveness across our studios while maintaining his passion for architecture.

As Michael embarks on his next adventure, competing in the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race,  we extend our thanks for his immense contributions and wish him every success.

As part of our Succession Strategy and commitment to nurturing talent and creating opportunities for progression, we are delighted to announce that Neal Morgan-Collins will become our new Managing Director.

For Neal, this is a natural progression. Since joining the Practice in 2007 as an Architectural Part II Student, Neal played a key role in establishing our executive architecture brand - Design Delivery Unit in 2012, building it into a well-recognised, AJ100 award-winning business. His role on the Operations Board has demonstrated the strengths and skills that make him ideally suited for this role.

The Strategic Board looks forward to this exciting next chapter alongside Neal and congratulates him on his well-deserved promotion.
