530 Broadway
In collaboration with Snarkitecture, Crown reimagined three office floors and the lobby at 530 Broadway, a historic landmark office building in New York City’s SoHo Cast Iron Historic District. The project masterfully blends the building’s historic architectural charm with modern sophistication, delivering over 12,000 square feet of Class A office space on each floor.
The design concept reflects the artistic spirit of SoHo with unexpected and memorable moments that both contrast and complement the 20th century buildings character. White walls, striking black ornamental surfaces and unique art installations by New York-based contemporary artist Daniel Arsham creates an environment more akin to an art gallery than typical workspace.
Historic architectural details including the exposed structural steel serve as a striking tribute to the building’s industrial heritage within the contemporary interior design.
