The buildings are designed as flexible laboratory and office (50:50) development, with tenants being a combination of businesses involved in life sciences R&D, which could entail offices and wet or dry laboratories
in combination.
The simple building form complements the complex services strategy and the façade has been designed to respond to the changing requirements of a multi-occupied building.
The design has a striking external appearance, with a daring entrance attraction that celebrates arriving at this centre for collaboration and innovation. Alongside a double height reception, a contemporary café
space will spill out onto the plaza and meeting rooms are provided for all occupants.
The elegant façade will adapt to the requirements of each tenant, by adding/ removing louvre or glass panels. The verticality and rhythm of the façade links floors together, whilst the perforated panels and fins create shadow, relief and diversity.
