The British Council for Offices [BCO] South of England and South Wales Judges will be visiting Space, Woking in February as it is considered for the Commercial Workplace Award. The Scott Brownrigg-designed building is the first Grade A new office building in central Woking in seven years.

Space offers open plan flexible floor plates, totalling 87,010 sq ft, over a basement, ground and seven upper floors. The resulting building provides an efficient working environment, considerately designed to provide a space for businesses to thrive.

The BCO Awards aim to define excellence in office space. The annual Awards Programme provides public recognition for top quality design and functionality and a benchmark for excellence in workplaces.

The design brings City-of-London office standards to central Woking. Designed to a market-leading specification it benefits from impressive sustainability credentials – it has an EPC ‘A’ rating / a target BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating and a target Fitwel 2 star rating.

“Scott Brownrigg were enlisted to design a new office space to support Woking’s emerging townscape. Our design enhances the wellbeing of the occupants, whilst offering a sustainable addition to the town centre, ultimately catalysing wider improvement and development of the area.”
