Based in our Chiswick studio, Andrew leads the Rail Infrastructure sector encompassing the design and delivery of new, and the refurbishment and upgrade of existing railway stations, including Listed Buildings, feasibility designs for future stations and railway lines, and the design and delivery of depots and other associated railway support infrastructure.
Working closely with both multi-disciplinary and specialist sector engineers Andrew is currently leading the team to design and deliver the new Bakerloo line station upgrades at Paddington station as part of the Renzo Piano Building Workshop Paddington Square scheme adjacent. Recent projects include Bath Spa, Chippenham and Keynsham stations for Network Rail, West Ham Capacity Upgrade, Cockfosters, Mill Hill East and South Woodford Step-Free Access projects, and Moorgate Capacity Upgrade.
Andrew has been involved in numerous infrastructure projects, including Step-Free Access and Capacity Enhancement schemes, for LUL, Crossrail and Network Rail. He has also completed residential designs in central and west London, and in the Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham. Andrew has worked successfully delivering projects working within multi-disciplinary teams, including, but not exclusively, civil/structural, mechanical, electrical and fire engineers. He has a long-term interest in sustainable design and is a member of the Association for Environment Conscious Building.
