The Brief

We were briefed to provide flexible, contemporary warehouse space to appeal to a wide range of potential occupiers on the site of the old BOC Edwards site on Manor Royal.

Concept

We conceived this as three cleanly detailed, buildings, separate yet part of the same development. We adopted a similar language for the buildings themselves which are flexible to grow and shrink to accommodate different warehouse sizes. We provided variation and identity by changing the colour of each building. 

Features

We used freestanding white concrete portal frames to mark the entrance to each building. By incorporating 15% rooflights we have provided more natural light than required, making a better working environment for building users. The project is BREEAM Excellent.
