Sea Breeze Masterplan
To establish a diverse and exciting new cultural, residential, commercial and innovation destination along the Caspian Sea coast, with the goal of enhancing and enriching Azerbaijan’s position as a sustainable, global destination of the future.
The concept creates a new destination with format, flexibility, and diversity, where a series of ‘connected communities’ are linked together within a walkable masterplan. Inviting residents and visitors to collectively experience both the tangible and intangible assets offered by the Baku locale.
The sustainability strategy includes wind-powered vertical farms and saltwater greenhouses to desalinate seawater for food production, and an innovative ‘Energy Carpet’ concept which integrates solar panels and wind-harvesting technology into the landscape to generate renewable energy.
