Global architectural practice, Scott Brownrigg’s Design Strategy Unit (DSU) have enhanced their service offering to clients through a new partnership with workplace specialists iPWC (in the US the DSU collaboration is between Scott Brownrigg’s US operation SB+C and CRUX, the US trading brand for iPWC).

Launched in 2017, the Design Strategy Unit analyses the functional and emotional demands of an organisation’s working environment informing firstly its workplace strategy and ultimately its design brief. Utilising digital tools to engage with a wide range of employees this enables business leaders to quickly and efficiently make informed decisions to align their workplaces with employee needs and business objectives.

The Unit has worked on a global scale with leading companies including Expedia, Unilever, Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, NCR, Chaucer and with RLB, Hoare Lea and The Crown Estate on assessing their properties.

The partnership with iPWC (CRUX in the US) ensures the Unit can effectively address the challenges facing the fast changing nature of workplace. This is particularly pertinent now as companies start to consider what the future of the workplace is in a post Covid world.

“We are delighted to be augmenting our Design Strategy Unit through the collaboration with iPWC. We look forward to offering our clients the broad and enhanced service in the arena of real estate strategy that this opportunity affords us.”

Katherine Neathercoat, Head of Interior Design

By strengthening the depth and breadth of the Unit’s service offering through the combined expertise of both companies, we are able to support our clients’ needs through these unique times. The collaboration enhances our global client base and widens our workplace offer to now include both property strategy and Workplace Change Management. It also gives clients access to further technologies and analysis tools, building upon the DSU’s existing ones.

Uniquely, the combined DSU offering and the expertise that Scott Brownrigg and iPWC each bring to the collaboration provides clients with the seamless delivery of workplace strategy and analysis, in parallel with concept design, test fits and a fresh vision to reimagine the workplace, and implement any change in working practices.

“We’re excited for this collaboration and being able to offer the rich depth of experience of the interior design and architecture services of Scott Brownrigg to our clients as part of the Design Strategy Unit offering, making us one of the most integrated and complete consultancies in this sector.”
