As experts in the City’s municipal agencies’ processes and procedures, Crown Architecture were approached to transform a dilapidated, vacant Landmarked industrial building in the heart of Soho, into a newly renovated commercial office and boutique retail development.
Located in the Soho Cast Iron District, our scope required restoring the façade, infrastructure upgrades, and converting the interiors to commercial office and retail space. Work commenced by filing for a new Certificate of Occupancy to change the building use from Manufacturing to Commercial.
We obtained approval from the Landmark Preservation Commission for all exterior façade renovations including the creation of a new, usable rooftop.
