We were briefed to provide flexible warehouse units designed to meet the operational requirements of contemporary occupiers and to be of a quality over and above the adjacent offerings.
Our design uses a coloured glass louver system to provide solar protection to the fully glazed office entrance screens and provide a visual marker to the entrances. Spiral escape stairs are mounted externally to provide a visual breaking of the façade.
We incorporated rainwater harvesting and roof mounted photo-voltaic cells, and a high percentage of glazed roof elements to maximise natural light within the workspace.
